How to use a key vault

How To Use A Keyvault
There are quite a few different ways to use a Keyvault to unban your console. I will go ahead and cover all of them. There are 3 different ways to swap your Keyvaults to unban your console. There is the special "Xbox Element Method" way that you use when you purchase a high quality Keyvault here from Xbox Element. There is the "Flash360 Method", which is what you will most likely use if you buy a low quality Keyvault from anywhere besides Xbox Element. Then there is the "Nandpro Method" which is quick if you have the right equiptment for it.
Xbox Element Method
THIS METHOD IS ONLY USED WHEN YOU PURCHASE A SPECIAL XBOX ELEMENT KEYVAULT!
With this method, you can run Xbox Element's Special Keyvaults that never disconnect! It takes just a little bit to set up, but it is the fastest method after the first Keyvault, and provides by far the most reliable Keyvaults.
Step 1-4 Only Has To Be Done Once!
Step 1.) Put Flash 360 Onto Some Storage Device.
- Any storage device will work, as long as you can run it from XexMenu or whatever your method for running Xex's is.
- You can obtain Flash360 by downloading it from Xbins under /XBOX 360/dashboards/Flash360/ (There are plenty of tutorials out there on how to use Xbins. I suggest you download "Auto Xbins 2008". It makes it very simple.)
-Once you have obtained Flash360, put "Flash360.xex" and the folder that comes with it "Media" into a folder called Flash360, then copy Flash360 over to your storage device.
Step 2.) Put Xbox Element's Special Image Inside The Flash360 Folder
- Put the image file we give you once you purchase our Keyvault into the Flash360 folder. Make sure it is named "updflash.bin"
Step 3.) Flash The Special Image
- Simply run Flash360.xex with whatever Xex loader you have. It should load into a different screen.
- Press "A" to write updflash.bin to the nand.
- Press "B" to not keep current Keyvault information.
- If it says something about the Keyvault's not matching, go ahead and hit "Back" to ignore it.
- If it says something about the image not being Zero Paired, go ahead and hit "Back" to ignore it.
- It should say press "A" to continue or any other button to return to the main menu. Go ahead and press "A"
- It should start counting numbers very quickly on your screen, this is flashing the nand. Do NOT press anything while this is happening to prevent any errors from occuring.
- Once it is done, press "Back" untill it shuts down.
Step 4.) Copy The Folder That We Give You (KV Flasher) Onto Your Storage Device.
- This should contain: "KV_Flasher.xex", "Media", "BIN1.bin", "BIN2.bin", "Bin3.bin"
- This will be what you use to swap the Keyvault we give you.
Step 5.) Copy The Keyvault We Give You Into The "KV Flasher" Folder
- Make sure the Keyvault is named kv.bin
- Make sure it is in the same folder as "KV_Flasher.xex"
Step 6.) Flash The Keyvault
- Launch "KV_Flasher.xex" with any XeX loader.
- Press "Start" and it should say "Status: 0x00000010"
- Press "Y"
- Your now online.
This video is showing Step's 5 and 6, the only steps needed to be repeated when buying a second time.
Flash 360 Method
This method is the most used method for swapping Keyvaults that are not from Xbox Element. This method can be used without LPT cables.
Step 1-2 Only Has To Be Done Once
Step 1.) Obtain 360_Flash_Tool
- If you have it already, skip this step.
- You can download it by Clicking Here
Step 2.) Put Flash 360 Onto Some Storage Device.
- If you already have Flash360 on your device from a previous flash, you can skip this step.
- Any storage device will work, as long as you can run it from XexMenu or whatever your method for running Xex's is.
- You can obtain Flash360 by downloading it from Xbins under /XBOX 360/dashboards/Flash360/ (There are plenty of tutorials out there on how to use Xbins. I suggest you download "Auto Xbins 2008". It makes it very simple.)
-Once you have obtained Flash360, put "Flash360.xex" and the folder that comes with it "Media" into a folder called Flash360, then copy Flash360 over to your storage device.
Step 3.) Inject Your Decrypted Keyvault Into Your Current Nand Image
- I am assuming you know your CPU Key and have an image of your current nand. If not, you can get your CPU key by booting into xell (Tons of tutorials everywhere about that) and you can get your current nand by dumping it via Flash360. (Tons of tutorials about that also)
- Open up 360 Flash Tool and click Keys
- Where it says CPU, type in your CPU Key
- You can obtain the 1BL key by Clicking Here. It is illegal to post the 1BL key, so there is a link.
- Hit "Ok" and 360 Flash Tool will restart
- Click the "..." under "Open File" and browse to your current nand image.
- Once you loaded your current nand image, click "Import" at the bottom.
- Check "Key Vault" then click the "..." to the right and browse for your decrypted Keyvault.
- Click "Ok" and save your image whenever you can keep track of it. Save it as "updflash.bin" without the quotes obviously.
- You now have an image to flash onto your Xbox with Flash360.
Step 4.) Put Your New Image That You Made Inside The Flash360 Folder
- Put the new image that you made with 360 Flash Tool into your Flash360 folder on your storage device.
- Make sure it is named "updflash.bin" without quotes obviously.
Step 5.) Flash The New Image
- Simply run Flash360.xex with whatever Xex loader you have. It should load into a different screen.
- Press "A" to write updflash.bin to the nand.
- Press "B" to not keep current Keyvault information.
- If it says something about the Keyvault's not matching, go ahead and hit "Back" to ignore it.

Nandpro Method
This method is very quick, but requires you to have an LPT cable. LPT cables must be soldered on and if you don't know if you have them or not, you don't. There are plenty of tutorials around about how to install LPT cables. I always suggest having them in case something goes wrong with Flash360.
This method may seem longer, but once you do it a time or two, it is much faster in my opinion. This is just my opinion, do whatever method you wish.
Steps 1-2 Only Have To Be Done Once

- You can download it from MegaUploads by Clicking Here
- You can download it from SendSpace by Clicking Here
- Run "port95nt" that comes with nandpro. You may have to reboot your computer.
Step 3.) Inject Your Decrypted Keyvault Into Your Current Nand Image
- I am assuming you know your CPU Key and have an image of your current nand. If not, you can get your CPU key by booting into xell (Tons of tutorials everywhere about that) and you can get your current nand by dumping it via Flash360. (Tons of tutorials about that also)
- Open up 360 Flash Tool and click Keys
- Where it says CPU, type in your CPU Key
- You can obtain the 1BL key by Clicking Here. It is illegal to post the 1BL key, so there is a link.
- Hit "Ok" and 360 Flash Tool will restart
- Click the "..." under "Open File" and browse to your current nand image.
- Once you loaded your current nand image, click "Import" at the bottom.
- Check "Key Vault" then click the "..." to the right and browse for your decrypted Keyvault.
- Click "Ok" and save your image in your NandPro folder that you downloaded not to long ago. Save it as "unbannednand.bin" without the quotes obviously.
Step 5.) Open A Command Prompt And Browse To Your NandPro Folder
- Type "cmd" in your run box or search box depending on what Operating system you are on.
- Navigate to your Nandpro folder by typing "cd" to browse into folders. Ex: If you are currently at "C:\Users\Owner" and you type "cd Desktop" you will be at "C:\Users\Owner\Desktop"
Step 6.) Extract The Encrypted Keyvault From Your "Unbannednand.bin"
- Once inside your Nandpro folder, type "nandpro unbannednand.bin: -r16 unbannedkv.bin 1 1" If you have a 256 MB nand type -r256, if you have a 512MB nand type -r512. If you are not sure, you most likely have a 16MB nand.
Step 7.) Hook Up Your LPT Cable To Your Computer And Flash Your Keyvault
- MAKE SURE YOUR XBOX IS OFF!
- DO NOT TURN YOUR XBOX ON WHILE THE CABLE IS HOOKED UP!
- In your command prompt, type "nandpro lpt: -w16 unbannedkv.bin 1 1" Again, If you have a 256 MB nand type -w256, if you have a 512MB nand type -w512. If you are not sure, you most likely have a 16MB nand.
- Unplug the cable, power the box, sign in, and your online!
